Our vision for the Crusher Cup is to become the Bay Area's premier XC race series.
Our vision for the Crusher Cup is to become the Bay Area's premier XC race series.
We are pleased to announce that CCCX MTB and NorCal Crusher Cup races will be sanctioned by USA Cycling in 2025.
As the governing body of cycling in America, USAC works hard to develop the sport from juniors to Olympians. This partnership will strengthen Northern California cycling and create a more direct pathway from our region to national events.
These USAC races provide an opportunity to earn national ranking points and qualify for national championship races, which is especially important for our juniors.
This move will also align our races with the Northern California Nevada Cycling Association. The NCNCA has long been active in promoting road racing in our region; now they will work with us to include XC racing and sanction a 2025 District Championship XC race.
The insurance coverage provided by USAC is a significant benefit to all licensed racers. Not only does it bolster our event coverage, it also provides each racer with personal supplemental insurance while racing.
Athletes will be required to provide a valid USAC license number.
About 30% of our participants already carry an annual license. We were able to get a deep discount for first-time annual licenses.
USAC Pricing (subject to change):
Basic Annual Renewal - $129
First-time annual license - $50 (use Code INTROMEMB25)
U18 license - $40
Day license: Adult - Novice $15 / U18 $15 / Adult $35

Lake Sonoma @ Lone Rock
Crusher Cup Lake Sonoma Starts at the top of the course - unorthodox for an XC race. We emphasize putting together a course altogether different with a wide range of terrain. The course will also break-up the climbs into manageable pieces by using both sides of the mountain.
SEE YOU AT LAKE SONOMA!
Experience the sweetness for Santa Cruz's hidden gem and premiere XC venue.
DeLa is a truly beautiful combination of terrain - from fast hard pack, to flowing curves, to roots and rocks. The course features a single main climb on double-track/fire road with plenty of passing space, while the rest of the course is pure singletrack.
If you haven't visited - you will not want to miss this!
Home to the Rattler XC and NICA races.
What can we say? Currently Marin's only full XC venue (shout out to the Summit and Stafford Shorties!).
The Crusher Cup will seek to build a course different from the Rattler and NICA races.
New to XC racing or just want to brush up on skills and techniques?
We are pleased to announce the women and girls MTB skills clinic and course preride with skills coach Jessica Tseng at DeLaveaga Park on June 22 @ 2:30PM. It is not required that you race on Sunday to attend the clinic, simply sign-up below.
The DeLaveaga is a course well suited for learning skills that will improve confidence on the trails! The clinic is designed to empower female riders, whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just getting started. We'll cover various topics to help you improve your racing skills, boost your confidence, and find your edge on the trails.
This clinic is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded women and gain valuable knowledge.
Following the clinic, at 4 PM there will be a Women's group preride with Jessica and UCSC Cycling President Justine McOuat.
This opportunity allows you to familiarize yourself with the race course, providing a competitive advantage for Sunday's race (if you are racing).
Remember to bring your helmet and cycling gear.
See you out there!
